Bedroom Bandits.
I have been very tired the past couple of weeks? WHY you might ask? Because of the BEDROOM BANDITS.
They slip into my bed in the pitch black of night without a sound. I continue to doze peacefully until a kick in my stomach tears me out of a deep, deep sleep. I remove a leg, sidle away, and fall back into dreamland. Then comes the little arm slung across my face. I remove the arm and move over a bit more. By three in the morning, I find myself clinging to the very edge of the queen-sized bed. at this point, I migrate to the couch. Usually, an hour or so later, I hear a shuffle as Todd stumbles to another couch to get one hour of undisturbed sleep before it's officially time to wake up. Night after night, the BEDROOM BANDITS usurp our rightful places in the parental bed. Any Advice?

Yep, as soon as they're asleep again move em back to your own bed, or what we've done when they come in make them lay on the floor! Now when Eliza comes in, she knows if she wants to be in our room, it's the floor for her, but she does it! For me I'd go to my own bed! lol! Good luck, and don't let them take over... let them know who's the boss! =)
oops I mean their own beds!
Oh Brooke! Don't get me started! You are a much more patient mother than I am that's for sure! My sleep is waaaay to precious.
As soon as you find them in your bed, off they go! Back to their own beds! Take turns with Todd escorting them back to their own rooms without a sound. And do it til they don't bother coming back. Might take a while, but don't give up!
my kids don't like me enough to want to sleep with me...unless their sick:)
lock your door :-)
Okay. I'm going to get a backbone and take back what's rightfully mine! Thanks :).
we have been battling this issue for 9 1/12 years. there has been a small person in our bed for the majority of our nights. we have locked the door and it usually works unless someone pees their bed and can't sleep in it anymore. the lock is sad, but they figure it out.
I do what Teresa does. As soon as Avery comes down to our room, I ask her what she needs then take her back to her own room. It's great because she never asks to sleep with us and she very rarely comes down unless it is an "emergency". I can barely sleep in the same bed as my husband; so needless to say, I CANNOT sleep with children in my bed. I am a light sleeper.
